“The beauty of life is in balance not regime”

M.J Steiner

Hi, I’m Jess.

I have been on quite a journey with nutrition in my life. After living in London for many years and getting caught up in the diet culture and fast pace, I packed up and moved to the Swiss mountains where I spent 9 wonderful years. Exhausted by the constant food scaremongering and diet fads from the city, I decided I would learn about the science behind food so I could make better choices for myself. What started as a hobby turned into an obsession, as I saw the power that nutrition and the changes I made, had on my health and my well-being. I quickly eradicated the IBS doctors had no solutions for and calmed the anxiety I had lived with for many years. I also learnt the importance of exercise that wasn’t tied into the calorie counting at the gym and discovered that movement that brought me joy, was a key part in balancing my body. So I decided to pursue this passion for nutrition and I studied for 4 years to get my DipION Nutritional Therapy qualification. I started using my knowledge to support my fertility and I left Switzerland for the UK in 2021 having gained a cat, dog and 8-week-old baby, to pitch up in the quiet town and beautiful town of Bradford-On-Avon where I practise. If you don’t find me eating or cooking, I’ll be in the outdoors, or at Hartley Farm with one of their delicious coffees in hand.

Life throws you down many different paths. A consistent for me throughout all these chapters in life has been food and nutrition. Sometimes it’s easy and joyful, like learning how to wean your child and watch them enjoy and experience foods for the first time. Sometimes we are faced with health conditions that medical doctors are providing no answers for leaving us in the dark with nowhere to turn. Some of us are also sent down painful paths that challenge us mentally and physically.

If you are looking for support from someone who has been through her own life challenges and managed to come out the other side, wherever you are right now, I am here to help, support and listen.

My Approach

It all starts with listening. A lot of the time when clients come to me they have already spent a lot of time trying to talk and not getting heard. I start by spending a lot of time listening to your story, I want to know everything you have to tell so I can build the best possible picture of you or your child. This is where the journey starts, feeling heard and understood.
